we wouldn't be here without...
jon levine
Officiant
Jon has been Matt’s partner in crime from the first day of first grade. Their friendship has survived a matzah factory rolling pin duel (earning permanent separation in Hebrew school), totaling three of Jon’s middle school wheelchairs and many other hijinks.
matthew goetz
Man of Honor
Coco's brother has always been her absolute favorite person in the world. She could not imagine her wedding without him by her side to quote snippets from their favorite musicals and "The Birdcage," and entertain her with his uniquely colorful "Would you rather" scenarios.
kristy davis
Maid of Honor
Coco met Kristy in the laundry room of their old apartment building and instantly bonded over their love of cats, wine, and Friends trivia. She was the first person Coco introduced Matt to (she needed the bff stamp of approval), and she helped them tour and select their wedding venue.
david solomon
Best Man
David has been Matt’s confidant, travel buddy and hetero lifemate since fourth grade--many were confused to learn that they were not marrying each other. Among many shared interests the two love to laugh, and start most of their calls making strange noises and laughing together.
jacob efron
Groomsman
Another day one friend from first grade, Jacob and Matt have maintained a brotherhood that endured multiple childhood feuds over the same girl (none of which were ever requited). The two both live in SF and keep each other young with shenanigans unbecoming of their age.
michelle potter
Bridesmaid
"Cole Baby" and "Shell Baby" met at 6-months old and are like sisters. Growing up a few houses down from each other, their childhoods were spent playing Barbies, arguing over who got to be Cher when playing Clueless, and creating their own spy agency with Coco's brother.
liz kohl
Bridesmaid
Coco met Liz while attending a free ballet in the park and they immediately bonded over their love of the theater, puzzles, and craft projects. She quickly became one of Coco's best friends and they have shared many silly memories at karaoke, doing puzzles together, and picnicking in Robin Williams' Meadow.
skylar bird
Bridesmaid
Coco and Skylar met in 4th grade when Sky rescued her from playground bullies (she scared them away by making horse noises). They spent their childhood filming videos of themselves lip syncing to Celine Dion, having slumber parties, and playing Little League. She has always made Coco laugh harder than just about anyone.
jacob selzer
Groomsman
Jacob and Matt not only (you guessed it) grew up together in MA, but “grew up” together in CA, making frequent visits to each other’s city in SF and LA through their 20s. When Matt told Jacob he was saving for a ring, Jacob offered to front the money without hesitation, speaking volumes to his excitement about Coco and his loyalty to his friends.
noah stern
Groomsman
Matt and Noah’s childhood sleepovers evolved from Noah falling asleep on the couch at 8pm to the two sneaking out of their parents' houses to cause trouble together. Their friendship similarly evolved from crushes and math homework to hosting each other on fun filled weekends in SF and NY.
leah bernstein
Bridesmaid
As her cousin and best friend, Leah is someone that Coco has always looked up to. Coco fondly remembers Leah teaching her how to swim, going to Blockbuster together in crazy costumes, and bike rides to the beach. Her wedding wouldn't be complete without her "big sister."
taylor & brooke bernstein
Junior Bridesmaids
Coco was one of the first people to hold Taylor and Brooke after they were born, and she used to love pretending that they were her daughters. She loves them more than anything in the world and feels proud to watch them grow into such beautiful young women.
